Description
This is one iteration of a module to train educators on writing assessment items. In PPT format, it uses interactivity and is grounded in applicable learning and design theories to help ensure transfer of knowledge for learners for their own benefit as well as for the benefit of their professional community as they are able to conduct Professional Development.

Rationale
This module highlights abilities in teaching and learning highly specialized skills while maintaining goals of motivation and transfer of knowledge.

Item Writing 101

Description
While this module is similar to the above, its focus and instructional problem is different and thus it takes an alternate path and requires different decisions. This presentation delves deep into the design decisions as well as the theories upholding them.

Rationale
This presentation demonstrates a clearly focused connection between theory and design decisions.
